The six facets of our learning community

Thanks to all our BOHONE 2012 students who work shopped the six facets of our learning community. It looks as if the final 6 facets are:
RESPECT
SUPPORT
COLLABORATION
TRUST
ENCOURAGEMENT
DEVELOPMENT

Amongst my personal favourites that "wordle" obviously couldn't compute:

COMMUNICATIVITY

  1. I find that all theses facets cover and are important in a wide range of areas. Be it working withing a group, succeeding in this course together, and most importantly displaying theses facets towards our patients while being a student and after graduating as a oral health professional is a essential pathway towards a successful learning community.

    Hope this is ok :)

  4. All of the words are important and they all play their own part. I personally think 'trust', as we will be working with patients and younger children. We have to make sure they trust us, that we will not harm them. Also trusting all the people around us.

Not sure if I did the right thing.

  5. I think it's great that despite discussing the facets in separate groups, we all share a common understanding of what makes a successful learning community. It makes me very excited and proud to be apart of a community of such motivated and friendly professionals in BOH and I look forward to working with and getting to know you all in these years to come!
